Council vehicles are being rebranded to incorporate public information campaigns.

The firm said it’s received a number of invitations to tender from councils in Northern Ireland, following a reorganisation that has seen smaller councils merge. Vehicles are being rebranded and new strategies adopted for public information campaigns.

In response, Spedian says it’s expecting to grow its business by 30% this year.

CEO Lawrence Craig said: “Our Spedian reusable graphics system is a fantastic channel through which to reach the public because it is easy to fit, robust, and offers good value for money. We’ve already had a lot of enquiries and interest is still growing.”

Spedian has also developed a software tool, Roadvert Media, that for the first time will give fleet operators / owners a value for the advertising space on their vehicles, based on how often the ads will be seen in real time.

Craig explained: “Coupled with our innovative iRoadvert Beacon and the Spedian vehicle graphics system, this specialist solution forms a powerful new marketing tool.

“For the first time, fleet operators can measure the reach of on-vehicle advertising campaigns using Roadvert, and engage directly with those audiences via the iRoadvert Beacon.

“Roadvert can assess an audience by age and location, by reach in percentage terms, and by impact. I believe it will transform the landscape in the sector.”
