Northgate has renewed its customer focus by appointing Spencer Davi to the role of UK head of sales, focusing on growth in its LCV hire and fleet mobility solutions.
Following a decade within the business, Spencer Davi has been promoted to the role of UK head of sales, overseeing inside sales, regional sales, and national account teams, while ensuring the continuance of Northgate’s customer-focused sales strategy.
An internal promotion, Davi has proved himself a crucial member of Northgate’s management team for a decade, having joined as a senior sales manager in 2014, before becoming an area sales manager and then the head of sales (North). During this time, Davi has gained firsthand knowledge of the changing needs of customers of all sizes while driving a period of extensive growth for Northgate.
“Over the last 10 years, Northgate has evolved alongside our customers, from a van rental and daily hire company to the full specialist mobility provider that we are today, and I look forward to continuing the development of our products and services for the benefit of our customers.” commented Davi.
The Head of Sales role will see Davi oversee a team of more than 90, split across the sales teams in the north and south of the UK, as well as the Client Services Team, which is based in Northgate’s Reading offices. As Northgate is leading the charge of UK fleets towards electrification, Spencer will also oversee the role of EV Business Development Manager.
