Northgate opens new branch in Manchester

The branch opening follows a wider £4m investment in the North West, which includes plans to open another a new site in Birkenhead at the end of April.

Jon Taylor, area operations manager at Northgate, commented: “Northgate’s Manchester branch will mean we are able to support local businesses with a reliable and flexible vehicle rental service, and we’re not stopping there – with the Birkenhead branch launch soon to follow and plans to open in further locations in the North West later this year. Previously we delivered to our Manchester customer base from our Bolton, Rochdale and Stockport branches. However, with the launch of the new branch, we will have a base in the heart of Manchester to allow us to cut down delivery times for customers in the city and ultimately improve our customer service delivery.”

Located on Bury New Road, the new site sits within a prominent location on the commercial arterial route into central Manchester, benefitting from excellent links to the M60

The location is also close to Manchester Piccadilly train station and Manchester Airport

At approximately 0.5 acres, the new branch can house up to 30 commercial vehicles at any one time
