Northgate Vehicle Hire will be exhibiting at next week’s Great British Fleet Event 2026, with a continued focus on supporting fleets on their Drive to Zero.

A key development of the Northgate proposition has been the launch of the Drive to Zero Consultancy, aimed at fleets of 20 or more vehicles. The consultancy combines telematics-based journey analysis, driver surveys, charging assessments and financial modelling to create a tailored roadmap for electrification.

The Consultancy is supported by the Drive to Zero Transition Hub, a platform which allows fleets to assess their existing vehicles and identify which ones are ready to transition. More than 3,000 vehicles have already been analysed through the Hub, with 79% identified as EV-ready.

Alongside Drive to Zero, Northgate Vehicle Hire will be available throughout the event – taking place on 16 April at Milton Keynes – to discuss the wider support it can offer fleets through Northgate Mobility.

Launched to create a more joined-up proposition for customers, Northgate Mobility brings together vehicle hire, specialist vehicles and insurance services under one umbrella, making it easier for fleets to access the support they need through a single point of contact. This includes access to traffic management vehicles through Northgate Highways and refrigerated transport through Northgate Temperature Controlled.

Melanie Creedy, electric vehicle business development manager at Northgate Vehicle Hire, will bring to life the fleet transition experiences of the firm’s customers by speaking at the ‘EVs and Sustainability: from Ambition to Execution’ Masterclass Session from 15:15 to 16:00.

Northgate has been shortlisted for the Great British Fleet Awards in the Innovation in Mobility category in recognition of the progress made by Drive to Zero since its launch in 2022.
