Novadata to deliver FORS Driver Training courses for van and truck fleets

Transport training provider Novadata has been approved to provide five FORS Driver Training courses, starting from June.

Novadata offer five FORS Driver Training courses: Safe Urban Driving, LoCITY Driving, Staying Legal, TruckSmart and Van Smart.

The business, which already provides JAUPT-approved Driver CPC courses, will offer five FORS Driver Training courses: Safe Urban Driving, LoCITY Driving, Staying Legal, TruckSmart and Van Smart.

All five courses contain theoretical components and the Safe Urban Driving and Van Smart include a practical on-road element, providing drivers with invaluable insights into ensuring cyclist safety on busy urban roads.

They all, bar Van Smart, can also count towards Driver CPC hours.

Novadata managing director Su Winch said: “As all our expert trainers are former transport professionals, we are well placed to deliver FORS Driver Training courses. We have observed first hand, from hosting FORS courses for several years, the great value that they bring in raising professional driving standards to the benefit of drivers, customers, other road users and pedestrians. It is therefore a great pleasure to be able to offer a full range of FORS driver courses to be delivered directly by our own team.”
