Manheim Auction Services and Novuna Vehicle Solutions have confirmed their ninth annual LCV auction event will take place on 5 July.
Dubbed the ‘LCV sale of the year’, the live event – held at Novuna’s Trowbridge HQ – will put 150 units with a combined value of £2.1m under the hammer and including combustion and electric vehicles.
Vehicles on offer include a red Ford Raptor (pictured) as well as panel vans, 4x4s and rare gems such as a Honda 300cc moped (see sales catalogue here).
The event will raise thousands for charity. Manheim and Novuna will each donate £25 for every vehicle sold on the day to Shelter and the two organisations hope to surpass the £8,600 raised at last year’s event.
Lots have an average mileage of just 58,000 – and will all, for the first time, include NAMA LCV grading after Manheim became the first UK auction house to adopt the new standard. All EVs in the sale will also come with the new SureCheck EV standard applied.
Matthew Davock, director of commercial vehicles at Cox Automotive, said: “This is the biggest LCV event of the year for us and a chance to demonstrate our strong bond with Novuna while giving buyers a highly engaging event jam-packed with premium retail stock.
“Experience tells us this will be a well-attended sale, with buyers from around the country joining us in-person and online. It’s genuinely not one to miss!”
Davock said it was also a hugely significant sale for Manheim, as from July onwards, all the remarketing specialist’s LCV units will have the NAMA grading applied.
“That means sellers can benefit from the consistency of the grading while buyers can feel extra reassured about the quality of the vans on offer. All stock on the day will have the standard, so we feel confident that the bidding will be intense.
“And besides the sheer quality of stock available, the sale always raises a fantastic amount for charity. Last year’s event smashed our expectations with 100% of vehicles sold, so anything close to that will be a great achievement.”
Dylan Thomas, auction manager, Novuna Vehicle Solutions, commented: “We are all looking forward to welcoming buyers from across the country and Ireland to our flagship headquarters in Trowbridge. This event is always very special for us as and we are looking forward to a great day of collaboration, physical auction fever and raising money for Shelter UK.”
The auction begins at 10am. Buyers can attend in person at Hakuba House, Trowbridge, BA14 0FL, or join the sale via Simulcast. The sale catalogue is online here.
