Ocado deploys more BEDEO electric refrigerated vans

Ocado Retail has expanded its electric vehicle fleet further with the addition of extra refrigerated vans powered by BEDEO technology.

Ocado’s 100% electric vans use BEDEO’s proprietary technology and transport groceries every day into West and South West London

The online grocer initially deployed 15 BEDEO 100% electric vans in 2019 and is adding a further 17 vehicles by the end of this year.

Liveried with the Ocado logo and distinctive blueberry fruit panels, the vans operate from Ocado’s Park Royal Depot and transport groceries every day into West and South West London, providing convenient and zero-emission deliveries while supporting Ocado with its target of net zero carbon emissions by 2035.

BEDEO, formerly known as BD Auto and Energy Ltd, manufactures and assembles its entire electrification range in-house, including powertrains, battery packs and electric vehicle conversion.

It’s recently expanded its platform to OEMs, where it acts as the electrification specialist for other brands – including for Stellantis, which has selected BEDEO as its exclusive partner to electrify its large LCV range for Vauxhall, Peugeot and Citroën brands in all European countries.
