Paack Logistics creates fit-for-purpose electric van fleet with Rivervale and Odo

Paack Logistics has gone live with electric vans, delivering on its commitment to a sustainable last-mile delivery solution.

Rivervale Leasing has provided Paack with an end-to-end solution covering all elements of the fleet, underpinned by the Odo Fleet Management platform from Drive Software Solutions

The business operates in more than 80 European cities and has deployed a fleet of electric vehicles that supports its mission of becoming the first certified net zero parcel delivery network; it already operates a carbon-neutral last-mile network in the UK.

To boost its work, the company has partnered with Rivervale Leasing, which provides Paack with an end-to-end solution. This covers all elements of the fleet from negotiating preferred manufacturer terms and competitive finance rates, through advising on a fleet of electric vans which is fit for purpose across range, load capacities and charging, through to maintenance management, underpinned by the Odo Fleet Management platform from Drive Software Solutions.

Odo’s functionality enables businesses, leasing brokers, dealers and rental companies to monitor and understand the use of vehicles, deliver efficiencies across the fleet and support with the transition to electric vehicles.

James Lovett, Paack’s general manager in the UK, said: “The Rivervale and Odo partnership gives us great confidence that our network is self-sufficient and future-proofed, enabling us to deliver on our promise to consumers and our commitment to the environment. Partnering with leading fleet management experts allows us to focus our energy on enhancing the delivery experience even further.”

Robert Gorby, chief commercial officer of Drive, added: “With the explosion in growth of online sales, logistics companies must ensure they fully optimise their fleet to enhance utilisation and reduce downtime. We’re delighted to play an important role in the growth of Paack in the UK as they deliver the future of last-mile logistics.”
