Paragon Software Systems’ routing and scheduling software is now connected with more than 40 different vehicle tracking systems, and more technology partnerships are due to go live shortly.
The firm said it’s seeing growing demand for vehicle tracking integration from global fleet operators, and has strengthened its ability to interface with telematics systems in the UK, Eastern Europe, North America and Australia.
Latest partnerships include Seven Telematics and MTData and the firm said interfaces with four further systems are planned to go live shortly.
By linking Paragon Route Execution – one of the Paragon Live modules – with vehicle tracking systems, fleets can benefit from the comparison of planned versus actual routes, enabling operators to identify areas for improvement while also allowing the customer services team to proactively alert customers to delays created by unforeseen traffic delays or operational issues.
William Salter, managing director of Paragon Software Systems, explained: “By integrating telematics technology with our routing and scheduling software, it is possible to mitigate the impact of delays or disruption on customer service, while using historical data to target continuous improvement and create more accurate plans. We are committed to providing our customers with a wide choice by interfacing with the most frequently used telematics systems worldwide.”
