Refrigerated vehicle supplier Petit Forestier has signed a major new deal with Mawdsleys, expanding its presence in the UK pharmaceutical sector.
The agreement will see Petit Forestier supply 69 vehicles to Mawdsleys over a three-year period, helping the Manchester-based company continue to maintain its high service levels.
The 69-vehicle fleet comprises a combination of fully liveried panel vans and box vans, across various leading brands including Ford and Mercedes, over a three-year period.
The new partnership reinforces Mawdsleys’ commitment to providing a consistent and reliable service to customers.
The business has been operating for just under 200 years, supplying vital medicines to hospitals and healthcare providers across the country.
Emma Dutton, senior marketing manager at Mawdsleys, said: “Due to the nature of our sector and our products, refrigerated vehicles play such a crucial role in ensuring we can deliver our products on time and in full, which is why working with a dependable cold chain logistics partner is so important to us.
“Petit Forestier’s extensive network of depots, as well as their 24/7 roadside assistance, makes them the perfect partner to help keep our refrigerated vehicles on the road and ensure we continue to deliver a consistently high service.”
Craig Welborn, head of national accounts at Petit Forestier, remarked: “We couldn’t be happier to be partnering with Mawdsleys in this deal. Like us, they’re a company with a long and reputable history and we look forward to working with them over the next three years.”
