Peugeot helps get Middlesbrough school on the road

Ormesby School now plans to use the new vehicles to transport students to their Outdoor Education Centre at Baldersdale where they enjoy activities such as orienteering, mountain biking and residential stays. In addition, the new minibuses mean that the sports’ teams can now take part in more fixtures across Teesside.

‘Ormesby School needed something very specific so our team worked closely with staff to ensure the minibuses were specially-adapted to their exact requirements,’ commented Simon Bailes.

‘It’s great that the students can now get out and about more and also take part in even more sports’ fixtures. We work on many specialist conversions to meet various needs, whether it’s for a single vehicle or a large fleet, and we can tailor solutions precisely. What’s also important is that we ensure that the vehicles are always compliant from a safety perspective and offer an exceptional driver and passenger experience.’

‘We really didn’t want a standard minibus- we needed several modifications to it so that it would last us a long time and allow all students to take part in many activities,' added Cathy Fidgeon, school business manager at Ormesby School. 'The fleet team at Simon Bailes Peugeot gave us such useful advice and guidance so that we now have vehicles that not only really suit what we need but are also incredibly cost effective too.'
