Problem-solving factsheets to help fleets meet and maintain FORS standards

A new series of problem-solving factsheets for companies taking part in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) are now available.

The FORS Standard sets out the requirements operators must meet if they wish to become FORS accredited and is updated every two years
The FORS scheme aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to recognise operators achieving exemplary levels of best practice

The voluntary accreditation scheme  aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and the new sheets – available online at challenges.fors-fms.org.uk – are based on new research that revealed six areas in which FORS fleets often encounter problems. These range from Driver Engagement, Managing Compliance and Automated Fuel Reporting, to Common Challenges, FORS Tools and Five Common Mistakes.

The sheets have been developed by FleetCheck to be easy to access and easy to use, helping fleets to reach and maintain their FORS standards in an ideal format.

“Through our existing collaborations with FORS – including the FORS-FMS software system, FORS online Fleet Tools and the FORS FMS Mobile app – we work with hundreds of fleets with the accreditation, so as well as the formal research we have carried out, we also have a very strong insight into the issues that they face,” said managing director Peter Golding.
