PSD Vehicle Rental has delivered more than 30 specialist vehicles to Sapphire Utility Solutions in a large-scale vehicle mobilisation.

The project, which saw all vehicles delivered to a single location ready for operation first thing on Monday morning, was the result of detailed planning and coordination across several teams to ensure every vehicle was sourced, prepared and delivered exactly when required.

Vehicles, including welfare vans, were outfitted to support utility and infrastructure work. Work also spanned Mercedes Sprinter L2H2 lining specification, Peugeot Boxer drain jetter specification and Ford Transit Tipper Crew Cab utility specification. The project also took care of Citroën Berlingo utility specification and Mercedes Sprinter LWB dropside with tail lift traffic management specification.

PSD said the scale of the project highlights its ability to respond quickly and reliably when customers need vehicles deployed in volume and on strict timelines.

The vehicles will support Sapphire Utility Solutions with its work to deliver essential services for Welsh Water across the region.

The project is the latest in a long-standing working relationship between PSD Vehicle Rental and Sapphire Utility Solutions.

PSD gave its thanks to Tony Chadwick, head of plant and transport at Sapphire Utility Solutions, for the confidence placed in the team to deliver the mobilisation, as well as the supplier partners who worked closely with PSD to ensure every vehicle was ready on schedule.
