The Sport-X is powered by a V6 engine that offers 224hp, and interior details are coordinated to match the purple wrappings. Additional bespoke features include18-inch alloy wheels and customised spoiler and chrome sidebars.
The van also gets powerful bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime driving lights, as well as seatbelt reminders for driver and passengers as standard.
The vehicle is Hemel-based Multi Distribution’s third successive Vito Sport-X, and was supplied by Hatfield dealer S & B Commercials.
Other new additions to the Multi Distribution fleet are a pair of 7.5-tonne Atego trucks with GM Billings curtainside bodies and 1.0-tonne Dhollandia column tail-lifts, and two 3.5-tonne Sprinter 313 CDI Lutons by Allied Bodies.
Zamir Raja, the managing director of Multi Distribution, commented: ‘I just love the Vito Sport-X. It’s a vehicle that appeals to the heart as well as the head by being roomy and practical, yet at the same time beautiful. Plus, of course, it’s fast and great fun to drive.
‘Multi Distribution has grown in partnership with Mercedes-Benz – its vehicles are the finest on the road and very fuel-efficient, while S & B must be the best dealer in Britain.
‘They supply all of our vehicles and service those based in Hemel and London. From the lady who answers the phone through to the service technicians and sales managers, if there’s anything we need they bend over backwards to help us.’
