RAM Tracking simplifies fleet admin with all-in-one hub

RAM Tracking has launched a new app to provide an all-in-one fleet management hub for fleet operators and drivers.

The new RAM Assist app has been designed as an all-in-one fleet management hub for operators and drivers

Intended to help boost levels of productivity and efficiency for fleets, the app provides an all-in-one way of logging and storing essential data, while also featuring an in-built breakdown alert function to keep drivers safe whilst minimising disruption to daily operations. The functionality notifies fleet managers instantly if a breakdown occurs and allowing them to assess which driver is in the best position to takeover. The ability to record key breakdown information, such as the location of the incident and witness details, also facilitates insurance claims.

The app also enables fleet operators to keep track of key documents and dates, including road tax renewals, MOT reminders, insurance renewals and scheduled services. It also enables drivers to record daily business transactions and other occurrences on the job, serving as an all-in-one hub for fleets.

Other functions include the ability to speed up processes for vehicle maintenance checks and recording expenses, including through a facility that lets drivers photograph receipts.

And for delivery fleets, to further simplify daily practices, RAM Assist lets drivers collect an image, record the status and document the signature capture of every delivery.

Scott Chesworth, operations director at RAM Tracking, said: “RAM Tracking has created RAM Assist as an essential assistant for operators, enabling fleet management to be kept as efficient as possible.

“Simplifying administrative tasks gives fleet managers more time to focus on growing their business, safe in the knowledge that essential documentation is accurate and up-to-date. We’re confident that once businesses are introduced to RAM Assist, they won’t want to do their jobs without it.”
