RED Driving School instructors ready to take delivery driving jobs

Driving instructors from RED could help meet increased crisis demand for delivery drivers, offering a safe and experienced solution.

RED is recommending its instructors for businesses looking to recruit new delivery drivers

Many of the firm’s 1,500 instructors are ready to take to the roads, after the company asked all instructors to cancel driving lessons in line with government guidelines.

With instructors now having no income – and some even falling outside the scope of the Government’s support for the self-employed – this leaves many needing to find alternative temporary work.

Additionally, many RED instructors want to get involved in the effort to support people during this time of crisis.

The company explained: “Although many businesses will be rushing to recruit new drivers, now is not the time to cut corners. Customer service teams are under more pressure than ever, but that is no excuse for employers to neglect their duty of care. All RED drivers are highly qualified, and the company also offers comprehensive fleet driver training via their e-learning platform. This online risk assessment and e-learning tools will fast-track drivers safely onto the road.”
