Renault adds new X-Track enhanced traction models and Master 4×4 to LCV range

X-Track conversions will be available across the Kangoo, Trafic and Master line-ups cover four main aspects of the vehicle: Limited Slip Differential, a raised ground clearance, underbody protection and All Weather tyres.

Meanwhile, the Renault Master can now be specified with 4×4 transmission to provide increased traction for intensive use on particularly difficult terrain and low-grip conditions.  Drivers of the Renault Master 4×4 can choose between two modes: 4×2 transmission for normal roads or a 4×4 mode for poor quality roads or off-road use.

The new X-Track versions and Master 4×4 complement the existing Grip Xtend technology – designed to deliver enhanced grip for occasional use on slippery terrain. Grip Xtend is a standard feature of Renault’s Kangoo (ICE versions only), Trafic and Master PC and LCV ranges in Europe.

The X-Track versions will be available in Europe from later in 2016 whilst the Master 4×4 is set to be available from the summer. UK on-sale dates will be announced in the coming months.
