Renault Group, which comprises both the Renault and Dacia brands, will have a large presence both inside and outside the arena with two vehicles on display inside, and 10 vehicles from the LCV range available to test drive by the public throughout the day on a specified test route.
There will be two modified Masters on display for visitors to take a look at – a Master Wellbus and the Master catering conversion for Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube. The Wellbus conversion provides specialised features such as five rear crash-tested seats and full mess facilities, including a tea boiler, water heater, microwave oven and sink with washing facilities. A toilet with washing and drying facilities can be accessed through a separate rear door to ensure the welfare of onsite construction, maintenance and agricultural workers. The Food Tube conversion, created especially for Jamie Oliver’s popular You Tube channel, Food Tube, contains numerous pieces of kitchen equipment such as a professional-grade oven, preparation areas and a serving hatch for the public to see exactly what’s being created.
Renault is able to satisfy around 75% of conversion demands straight from its factories, but it also has a network of 30 UK-based Approved Converters who are highly skilled in building specialist vehicles on demand to Renault’s high standards.
Converted Renault vans are available from any of the company’s 151 UK sales and service outlets, but there are also 38 Renault Pro+ dealers who specialise in business sales, including converted vehicles. These are located throughout the country and have dedicated business sales and aftersales teams with extended working hours to meet the demands of business customers. Every vehicle on display and available to test drive comes with Renault’s four-year, 100,000-mile warranty with roadside assistance.
Steve Wilson, LCV product manager, Renault UK, commented: “This is the first ever Van Fleet World Live, and we’re excited to be a part of it. Every business is unique with specific requirements and we are committed to providing vehicles to fit those needs and will have a selection of them on display, along with others available to test drive, at the event.
“We have tailored our range to suit the majority of needs with our factory-built conversions so there is only one invoice and one contact, but for customers who require something more specific, our network of Approved Converters is skilled in building specialist and bespoke converted vehicles. We look forward to the inaugural event.”
