Renault Master E-Tech fully electric van on sale priced from £37,500

Renault’s new-generation Master E-Tech 100% electric van is now available to order in the UK, priced from £37,500 (+VAT) with the Plug-in Van Grant included.

The fully electric Master E-Tech offers a WLTP range of up 285 miles and is priced from £37,500 (+VAT) including the Plug-in Van Grant

Due to start first deliveries in December, the fully electric model joins the trio of diesel versions that launched in October and will help fleets electrify their operations thanks to its extra range, efficiency, usability and space compared to its predecessor.

Qualifying for the full £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant, the Master E-Tech is powered by a 143hp motor, delivering 300Nm of torque. It’s fed by an 87kWh battery that provides a WLTP range of more than 285 miles – up 20% on the previous Master E-Tech and said to be class leading.

It’s able to charge at up to 130kW DC, adding 142 miles of range in around 30 minutes, while a 22kW AC charger tops up the battery from 10% to 100% in just under four hours.

Winner of the International Van of the Year title for 2025 alongside the ICE versions, the Master E-Tech is available in a range of versions, spanning load spaces of 11 to 14.8m3, with a 40mm wider opening at the sliding side door and 100mm longer load compared to before.

Payload capacity and volume are also increased and the Master E-Tech delivers up 1,625kg, as well as a 2.5-tonne towing capability.

Inside, the latest iteration of Renault’s large van offers a premium, more car-like experience with a 25% increase in total cabin storage. The steering wheel is ported over from the Renault passenger vehicle range and is adjustable for height and reach. Automatic versions now feature the transmission controls on the steering wheel, freeing up centre console space.

The OpenR Link multimedia system is standard fit on every model in the range. It features a 10-inch screen with wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The system can be further enhanced with the optional availability of Google built-in on the Extra trim level. The scalable solution will gain new functionalities over time, with free over-the-air updates and more than 20 apps.

Latest technologies also include up to 20 driver assistance systems, such as lateral stability, automatic emergency braking and trailer stability assist systems. The Master E-Tech also comes equipped with Intelligent Speed Assist, helping the driver stay within the speed limit.

A hydrogen version of the Renault Master is also on the way, previewed at IAA Transportation 2024 and due at the end of 2025. It will offer a WLTP range of 700km (434 miles) along with a refuelling time of five minutes.
