Renault is to showcase 15 LCVs at this year’s CV Show, including the new Master Z.E. and uprated Kangoo Van Z.E. prior to their launch later this year.

Renault Master Z.E. is aimed at last-mile urban distribution.

On sale next year, the Master Z.E. is aimed at last-mile urban distribution and municipal needs and marries up a 33kWh Z.E.33 battery with a 76bhp electric motor enabling a range of 124 miles on the NEDC cycle. A full charge from a 7kW wallbox takes six hours. Four versions will be offered – covering three lengths and two heights.

The 33kWh battery is shared with the upgraded Kangoo Van Z.E., which arrives midway through the year. Its added battery capacity and new motor means it offers a 168-mile range on the NEDC cycle – up by over 50% and the longest of any electric LCV. Charging has also been improved and takes six hours for a full charge compared to eight hours for the previous lower-range model.

At the CV Show, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 25-27 April, Renault’s Pro+ brand will also exhibit special ‘Formula Editions’ of Master, Trafic and Kangoo – which showcase the Pro+ logistics partnership with the Renault Sport Formula One Team. A forthcoming range of enhanced traction models will also be on display as well as the Master 4×4 and a brand-new bespoke range of conversions.
