Launching in October in the UK and other markets, the new arrival provides an official WLTP combined range of 185 miles (297km), a payload up to 1,160kg and a towing capacity of 920kg.

It will be available in a range of configurations: three panel van versions with two lengths and two heights (L1H1, L2H1, L2H2), two crew van versions (L1H1 and L2H1) and a platform cab version that will enable a variety of body designs.

In panel van guise, the E-Tech Trafic offers a load volume ranging from 5.8 to 8.9m3 and a load length of up to 4.15m. The 1,898mm interior height of the H2 version should enable most drivers to stand upright in the load area.

It’s powered by a new 122hp electric motor and fitted with a 52kWh battery.

The Renault Trucks E-Tech Trafic also comes with an eight-year warranty on its traction battery and a two-year warranty on the rest of the vehicle, including parts and labour and 24/7 breakdown assistance. Customers can also benefit from Renault Trucks’ growing number of dedicated LCV centres, all offering quick appointments and extended opening hours, including Saturdays.

The new arrival sits under the E-Tech Master and means Renault Trucks now offers a range of fully electric vehicles, from 650kg cargo bikes to 44-tonne trucks.

The Renault Trucks E-Tech Trafic will be available in France, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy and Germany from October 2023.

Prices are yet to be announced.
