Renault’s revamped Trafic panel van now on sale

Renault has opened orders for its revised Trafic panel van, which is priced from £25,200 (excl VAT) or £370 on hire purchase finance.

The revised Renault Trafic is available to order now and starts deliveries in December 2021

It starts deliveries before the end of 2021 and introduces a new front-end design, with a revamped interior designed to offer passenger vehicle levels of comfort and quality while remaining functional. It also brings significant enhancements in safety tech.

It’s available as short and long wheelbase panel vans with low or high roof heights and as a long wheelbase crew van. Loading area has a total capacity of between 5.8 and 8.9m3, with several options for glazing, partitions, doors and crew van arrangements. Maximum load length stands at 4.15m in L2 form thanks to a hatch in the bulkhead that enables longer loads to be carried.

Design changes bring a new front-end that uses full LED lighting with C-shape daytime running lights and a redesigned bumper. Trim levels span Business, Business+, Sport and Sport+. Sport models get new 17-inch alloy wheels along with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on Sport+ models.

The interior introduces a new dashboard design with a horizontal trim and a new instrument panel with additional chrome detailing.

Cabin storage brings 84 litres of stowage space, including under the passenger bench seat. The cabin can also be transformed into a mobile office, with enough space for a laptop and an A4-size swivel stand to hold working documents. The backrest of the central seat can also be folded over into a table. Specification also brings features such as electrically folding door mirrors and new door panels with wider armrests.

New onboard tech includes Renault’s EASY LINK infotainment system accessed via an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, with integrated navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. It also features a wireless phone charger, three USB ports and a 4.2-inch colour display in the instrument panel. Standard equipment includes DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB phone connectivity.

A total of nine new driver assistance and safety features are featured and include adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, blind spot warning, active emergency braking, traffic sign recognition with overspeed alert, driver attention alert and automatic high and low beam for the full LED lights. Also included are front, rear and side parking sensors, plus rear parking camera.

A wider and more efficient engine line-up brings a full range of improved Blue dCi diesel units, with four powertrain options ranging from 110 to 170hp, offering more torque for stronger pulling power.

All Blue dCi 110, 130, 150 and 170 versions come with a manual transmission, while the Blue dCi 150 and Blue dCi 170 are also available with an EDC dual-clutch automatic gearbox. All 2.0-litre Blue dCi engines meet the latest full Euro 6D standard and are equipped with Stop & Start.

First deliveries start from December 2021.
