The updated Fiat Ducato is now available to order, introducing new advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a revised exterior and a more ergonomic interior.
The enhancements to the interior includes new digital instruments, while the Uconnect infotainment system is available with 5-inch, 7-inch and 10-inch screens. TomTom 3D navigation, with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and double USB-A and C Ports are also available. The dashboard and steering wheel have been re-designed, while there is a new gear lever, new door panels and automatic air conditioning controls.
Fiat Professional claims a full range of ADAS systems are available with the latest Ducato, including speed limiting, brake control for vulnerable road users, road sign recognition, adaptive cruise control with stop and go function, lane keeping assist and traffic jam assist. Other options include a rear-view camera as well as ESC with Cross-wind assist, trailer stability control and active park assist. New Ducato is also available with keyless entry and go, wireless phone charging, a 230-volt power socket, heated windscreen and self-levelling air suspension. Electric power steering is now standard, bringing a smaller, revised steering wheel.
The latest Multijet3 diesel engines are all Euro 6D-final compliant and available with both light-duty and heavy-duty type approval. The 2.2-litre engine is available with power outputs of 120hp, 140hp, 160hp and 180hp. The latest engines come with an improved six-speed manual transmission, while the nine-speed automatic is offered with all engines except the 120hp variant. The three most powerful variants are also available for the heavy-duty versions with either manual or automatic transmission.
Externally the front of the Ducato has been re-designed and incorporates new LED headlamps. A new paint colour, Lanzarote Grey is available from launch.
