The firm is one of the largest truck and plant rental companies in the UK, operating a 2,000-strong vehicle rental fleet nationwide, and has adopted Isuzu as its favoured choice for the 7.5-tonne GVW category.

“We have operated Isuzu trucks within our fleet for many years now on different applications and we have found that, at 7.5 tonne, they offer a very impressive payload indeed. We also find that the Easyshift automatic transmission option is a really attractive proposition for our customers,” said Chris Snelson, fleet and asset director, Riverside Truck Rental, “We have also had excellent customer feedback about the performance and reliability of the Isuzus in service, so the decision to increase the number of Isuzu 7.5 tonners in our fleet was a simple one.”

The latest fleet additions are all Isuzu Forward N 75.190 (E) rigids fitted with Geesink RCV compaction bodies and trailer lifts, and will work within the Riverside fleet for a five-year period, covering anything from one-day spot hire through to long-term rental all over the UK.
