Rob Holdcroft appointed head of fleet at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has appointed Rob Holdcroft as head of fleet, following a series of changes in senior leadership roles.

Rob Holdcroft will take up the role of head of fleet at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles on 12 July

Holdcroft, currently national sales manager for the brand, will take up the role of head of fleet on 12 July.

He replaces Claire English, who is moving to Audi UK as its new head of fleet, and will report to David Hanna, who was confirmed last month as head of sales operations for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

Holdcroft has worked for the brand in sales operations in consumer-centric roles since 2016, including managing the area sales teams and in sales development positions.

He also previously worked in the Volkswagen Group’s Trade Parts Specialists team as TPS operations manager.

Cian O’Brien, director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, commented: “I’m pleased to see Rob stepping up to a new role in the team, bringing fresh ideas and ambitions, coupled with excellent knowledge and experience of our network and customers.

“We have an exciting course ahead of us, with the forthcoming launches of the new Multivan, ID.Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo, and new Amarok in the next few years, as well as developments in electrification and digitalisation. I’m delighted to have an engaged team in place who are as excited as me to get stuck into the challenges.”
