Robert Hazelwood joins BCA as commercial director

Hazelwood joins BCA from Volkswagen Group UK where he held a number of senior positions over nine years, latterly as Volkswagen Brand Director and, prior to this role, heading the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Skoda brands. Before joining Volkswagen UK, Hazelwood held the role of managing director MG Rover UK and Managing Director Ferrari/ Maserati UK which was part of Inchcape. During his time at Inchcape, he was also managing director of Mazda France and Inchcape Retail.

Hazelwood will be responsible for BCA’s Sales Operations and Remarketing Services business as the company continues to meet and exceed growth aspirations in terms of vehicle volumes and automotive service provision.

BCA’s managing director Spencer Lock commented: ‘We are delighted to welcome Robert to the BCA leadership team at a time when his outstanding motor industry experience will prove exceptionally valuable.’

Lock continued: ‘BCA continues to deliver a range of new products and digital tools to meet the needs of our customers and Robert will play a pivotal role in keeping BCA’s service provision at the very cutting edge of the remarketing and automotive sectors.’
