Robert Heath Heating adds Berlingo vans to nationwide fleet

Long-standing Citroën van customer Robert Heath Heating is adding the first new Berlingo Van models to its 200-strong nationwide installation and maintenance fleet of Citroën models.

The vehicles mark the first new Berlingo Van models to join Robert Heath Heating’s 200-strong nationwide installation and maintenance fleet

The vans will replace existing Citroën vans as part of its regular fleet replacement programme and will also be joined by a delivery of the larger Citroën Dispatch model, comprising an order of more than 80 vehicles, all financed by Free2Move Lease.

The new Berlingo Van models are all 1.5-litre BlueHDi 100 S&S Manual M 1000 Enterprise models which bring a high level of standard equipment including air con, rear parking sensors, cruise control with variable speed limiter, plus modular folding passenger bench seat with pivoting writing table and load-through.

The latest vans will be used by the company’s nationwide team of installation and maintenance engineers and have been fitted out with ply-lining and internal racking plus roof mounted pipe tubes.

Stuart Cocks, commercial director at Robert Heath Heating, commented: “The new arrivals from Citroën will replace existing Citroën models in our van fleet which have given us three to four years of great service. Our vans lead a hard life, carrying all the kit that our engineers need to provide the service our customers expect. Good payload and reliability are essential for us.

“We have chosen Enterprise spec for the New Berlingo Van and Dispatch models because it gives our drivers equipment like air conditioning to keep them cool and reversing sensors to avoid accidents and damage. Citroën Connect Box gives our engineers peace of mind too, with emergency assistance available at the touch of a button if it’s needed.”

The contract win follows on the back of a series of industry accolades for the new Berlingo Van since its launch. This includes ‘International Van of the Year’ 2019 and ‘Fleet Van of the Year’ in the 2019 Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards.
