Samsara augments tachograph solution with live tacho status

Samsara is expanding its tachograph solution to include live tacho status and instant tacho analysis, providing a comprehensive tachograph solution that covers all compliance needs.

The latest updates to Samsara’s tachograph solution in the UK and Europe will bring a number of benefits to fleets

The solution already offers remote downloads and the latest updates in the UK and Europe will bring a number of benefits to fleets, including the ability to prevent potential infringements with live, up-to-the-minute visibility into the status of all drivers and to maximise driver productivity with real-time insights into remaining driving hours. The new features also streamline compliance with in-depth driver infringement reporting.

The tachograph management solution is part of Samsara’s integrated platform for fleet tracking, driver safety, routing, and maintenance, and will be available at no extra cost to customers.

Nirav Patel, senior director of business operations for Samsara Europe, said: “Since entering the UK market a year ago, our comprehensive solution has had quick adoption across fleets of all sizes. Building products specific to British fleets is a focus for us. Our advanced tachograph solution is one of the results of that focus and came, in part, from direct feedback we heard from our customers. In the next year, we’ll be increasing our technology developments even further so we can help our customers improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of their operations.”
