The EcoN in-cab driver feedback device was installed across its fleet of more than 1,300 fleet vehicles, ranging from cars to HGVs, with drivers have achieved a 10% increase in MPG efficiency along with a 23% reduction in idling and a 25% reduction in speeding events.

Ongoing results from the EcoN device are presented to ScottishPower every month in a detailed presentation that charts improvements and also helps the firm understand the data produced by its vehicles without data overload.

Marc Currie, contracts manager at ScottishPower, said: “We wanted a telematics partner that would keep us informed of our performance across a range of key metrics. To that end, these results have come as no surprise to us as Trakm8 present high level KPI and ROI summaries to us on a monthly basis.

“We look forward to working with Trakm8 over the coming year and beyond as we seek to build and improve upon an impressive first set of annual results.”
