Selsia to show benefits of outsourcing accident repairs at Great British Fleet Event

Fleet operators attending next month’s Great British Fleet Event will be able to hear from Selsia about the benefits of outsourcing their vehicle accident repair requirements.

Selsia will be on hand at GBFE to explain how its vehicle repair network can avoid lengthy downtime and supply chain disruptions

Selsia is one of a number of fleet service firms exhibiting at the show, which takes place on 29 March 2022 at Novotel London West and includes unmissable Masterclass Conferences and a fleet-focused exhibition before leading into the prestigious Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards 2022 in the afternoon.

At the exhibition, Selsia will be on hand to explain how it can get your vehicles safely repaired in the quickest possible time, avoiding lengthy downtime and supply chain disruptions.

Already used by some of the UK’s best-known fleets, its comprehensive accident repair solution covers everything from initial 24/7 notification and repair deployment, through to the use of any of its 200 UK-wide British Standard-, insurer- and vehicle manufacturer-approved car, van and HGV repairers.

The firm operates its service using a secure cloud-based repair management portal, which accepts initial incident notifications or enables fleets to put their own cases on the system.

Selsia then deploys repairs to the most suitable repairers, after which the fleet has visibility of estimates and images as well as notification to the insurers, online authorisation and daily case notes, which enables operators to plan for vehicles to come back into service.

Fleets also have access to a wealth of management information, including average repair costs and key to key times.

In addition, Selsia has a team of dedicated, specialist HGV repairers that will focus on fast, comprehensive and safe repair services for commercial vehicles.

The firm’s services are particularly noteworthy at a time when the global supply chain crisis has seen delays in the supply of essential vehicle parts, alongside staff shortages. The upshot of all of this is severe pressure on UK bodyshop capacities and potential delays in getting your vehicles repaired.

But with approved car, van and HGV repairers already in place, Selsia can move repair work around and get your accident-damaged vehicles prioritised.

As a repairer-financed national repairer network, there are no charges for using Selsia’s services and the firm says that outsourcing can bring significant cost savings. The central invoicing service also saves fleets from locating reliable repairers and having to set up multiple repair accounts.
