Seven Telematics wins contract for temperature controlled pharma fleet

This is the first time that JIF and Pharma Transport have specified Cool Track, despite being a long term user of Seven Telematic’s TranScan temperature data logging systems for over 20 years.

“We have been really pleased with the outstanding performance of the remote temperature monitoring systems from Seven Telematics since we switched supply and will now exclusively only use Cool Track in our fleet. This system certainly provides us with exactly what we were looking for, in terms of management reports and key transit information at all times. Cool Track gives us full traceability of loads where ever they are located, enabling us to communicate the latest information and load status direct to our customers,” commented George James, director, James International Forwarding Ltd.

With its head office in Wolverhampton, James International Forwarding has over 20 years’ experience in transporting Pharmaceutical, Biotech, R&D, Healthcare and varied types of temperature sensitive products throughout Europe. The company had its first demonstration Cool Track system installed in January last year and following a successful trial period, JIF now has a total of 10 vehicles and trailers that are tracked and monitored by Cool Track systems, providing them with vehicle CANbus data and driver KPI reports.

“Our Pharma Transport business is focused primarily on pharmaceutical deliveries, with the vehicles transporting goods all over Europe. The high visibility of the Cool Track system enables us to access all the latest journey information whilst they are working on intensive Pan-European deliveries. Having operated the Seven Telematics TranScan data logging systems successfully in our fleet for over 20 years, we were fully aware of the quality and reliability of their products. The switch to Cool Track this year was a natural extension for us as it gives us exactly the information and data that we need, 24/7,” added George James.
