SMEs offered free guidance on government funding during pandemic

SMEs can get free advice from Vanarama on how to access the funding available from the UK Government during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The dedicated team of experts can help SMEs access funds

The Covid-19 Small Business Support Team provides information and guidance to sole traders, the self-employed and small limited companies – including those who are not Vanarama customers, and can be accessed online or over the phone.

“There are more than five million self-employed people who make up 15% of the UK’s workforce, many of these are van-driving tradespeople who account for a substantial number of our loyal customers,” said Andy Alderson, CEO and founder, Vanarama.

“We understand that this is an incredibly stressful time and finding the right government funding can be overwhelming. We pride ourselves in providing industry leading customer service, so, have further invested in training our customer service team so that they can offer sound advice and guide not only our existing clients but other small business owners in these difficult times.”

The free-to-use service provided by Vanarama can be accessed via Covid-19 Small Business Support Team or by calling 0808 196 3900.

Up-to-date information on all the support that the Government is offering, as well frequently asked questions from mortgage holidays to life insurance queries, can be found here.

Vanarama has also launched a Facebook group to provide a secure space for members to discuss issues and share their business stories.
