This equates to more than five times the growth of the overall LCV market, which increased by 3.38%.
In the first half of 2013, Citroën LCV registrations were up 20.75% at 11,294, while Citroën's LCV market share for the January-June period was 8.48%.
Scott Michael, Citroën's head of commercial vehicles & Business Centre Programme (pictured), commented: ‘Citroën LCV sales made a flying start in the first quarter of 2013 and I'm delighted that we maintained this momentum in the second quarter. Citroën's LCV success is attributable to not just our award-winning Nemo, Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay ranges, but also our network of Citroën Business Centres, which continues to grow sales in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) fleets and supports sales to our larger National Fleet customers.’
To continue its LCV sales success into the second half of 2013, Citroën has just introduced a new “Upgrade to Business Class” package to meet the requirements of the brand's SME customers.
