SOGO breaks into ultra-flexible van leasing

Flexible car leasing business SOGO is crossing over into the van segment with the launch of new monthly leasing terms.

SOGO MD Karl Howkins said the firm’s new ultra flexible van leasing solution launches with a significant supply of vans and pick-ups

The business launched in the UK in late 2020 by former Citroën UK managing director Karl Howkins, offering private individuals, micro-businesses, SMEs and corporates with ultra-flexible vehicle leases from one month to four years.

It has now entered the van sector with a range of deals from a Citroen Berlingo from £300 per month to a Mercedes Sprinter Van from £525. It is also waiving the customer activation fee and delivery and collection charges (within 120 miles of Milton Keynes) during March.

Karl Howkins, managing director of SOGO, said: “We have ensured that we launch with a significant supply of vans and pick-ups. Our aim is to give people the flexibility they need to grow their business profitably without getting tied into long leases that don’t meet their needs.

“As we leave lockdown, the economy is expected to recover over the next two years, and businesses need our help to keep them moving. Our vehicles come with no upfront payments, no long term commitment, and breakdown cover included.”

SOGO is targeting a 5,000-strong vehicle fleet by the end of 2021, of which at least 35% will be electric vehicles as it looks to make inroads in the EV segment. Leases are available from one month to four years and the subscription model includes comprehensive insurance, maintenance and breakdown cover.

The digital-led service allows customers to order a vehicle in a matter of minutes, supported nationally from a network of logistics hubs.
