LEVC has appointed Sortimo as an official conversion partner for its VN5 range extender van.
Sortimo’s fifth-generation SR5 van shelving system has been customised to fit the VN5, which started production at the end of 2020.
Sortimo also offers a number of other storage options including folding racking, drawers, roof racks, load boxes as well as the design and application of vehicle decals for fleets.
Fleets using Sortimo will also benefit from the firm’s nationwide set-up of ProPartner fleet conversion sites and the MySortimo online configurator, which allows fleets to specify and visualise the perfect internal storage solutions for the VN5, updating to show options and giving a live price estimate.
Designed, engineered and built at LEVC’s electric vehicle factory in Ansty, Coventry, the VN5 is based on the same architecture and proven range-extender technology as LEVC’s TX electric taxi and can achieve a pure EV range of over 60 miles and a total range of 304 miles. It has up to 5.5m3 capacity, can accommodate two Euro-sized pallets and offers a gross payload of up to 830kg. It also features a large side-loading door that enables a pallet to be side-loaded and a 60/40 split door at the rear to make loading and unloading easy for the driver.
