Sprinter welfare vans now available on Global Go! fleet

National van rental provider has added 15 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter welfare vans to its fleet to help keep businesses on the road.

The initial order has seen 15 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter welfare conversions join the Global Go! fleet

The vehicles, the first of an ongoing bulk order, have been supplied through dealer Bell Truck and Van and fitted out as welfare vehicles by CPD Bodies of Stockton.

The vehicles join the Global Go! fleet as part of its ongoing investment in new and up-to-date rolling stock.

Global Go! CEO Gareth Jones said: “It’s important particularly in the current environment that we ensure our customers and partners have new, reliable and compliant stock to keep them fully operational and on the road.”

He added: “We elected to use CPD in Stockton to fulfil the build programme for a number of reasons. Most notably, their ability to deliver to plan and the specification and build that was undertaken. It was also good to work with Cathal and his team on this project given the work that we already undertake with them on tippers and chassis-based dropside products.”

Cathal Doocey, owner of CPD, added: “It’s been great working with Global Go! on this relatively new product to our portfolio. We’ve worked with Gareth for many years and have a long and successful relationship with Global Go! so it’s great that they’ve recognised the work that we do for them by giving us this order, which in total over the next 18 months, is one of the largest that we’ve received for welfare spec.”
