St John Ambulance centralises operations with FleetCheck software

St John Ambulance is adopting FleetCheck’s fleet management software across its 850-strong vehicle fleet as part of a move to centralise its fleet management provision.

St John Ambulance has deployed FleetCheck for its 850-strong fleet

The first aid charity runs a diverse fleet including cars, 4x4s, ambulances and large mobile treatment centres, and was looking to implement a centralisation process to provide consistent standards of governance across the fleet.

Commenting on the charity’s reasons for opting for FleetCheck, national fleet manager Mike Moore explained: “We could see straightaway that it would very much help us with what we were trying to achieve across the fleet in increasing vehicle visibility and control over areas like governance, and our fleet team would be able to adopt it easily, which has proven to be the case.”

He added: “From an asset management point of view, the fleet is extremely varied and the software is helping us to better track everything that is happening across all of our operations. This means we can more effectively serve communities to have a positive impact on people’s health.”
