The Fleet Director platform developed by the GPS fleet tracking and telematics software provider is already used by over 20,000 fleets to track more than 200,000 vehicles globally.
Thanks to the enhanced integration, fleets can now access Teletrac’s Fleet Director software through a wide range of Garmin navigation devices with the aim to increase efficiency, effectiveness and productivity throughout the fleet.
GPS navigation, real-time location and vehicle tracking are some of the features available with enhanced integration. Dispatchers can use Fleet Director to send job information and destination routes directly to drivers, while drivers can manage and track these jobs and generate real-time messages on all statuses, updates and completed jobs.
Teletrac claims results of up to 30% lower fuel usage, 15% less driver overtime and 12% higher productivity have been reported by fleets using the Fleet Director system.
