The partnership brings together Teletrac Navman’s telematics software and Maxoptra’s web-based platform and is intended to bring together benefits of cost and efficiency optimisation to small and medium sized fleet operators, as well as increased safety, reduced fuel use and journey time. For example, Maxoptra’s technology generates a planned delivery time whilst Teletrac Navman monitors the actual delivery time.

Peter Millichap, UK marketing director at Teletrac Navman, said: “Our ethos is all about improving business efficiency and bringing new technologies to the market to help customers from a range of sectors and scope. The solution allows both telematics and routing to be easily accessed via a SaaS (Software as a service) model. With its shared values and transport sector expertise, Maxoptra is a good fit with the business and we welcome the collaboration.”
