The scheme, developed by Freight Transport Association (FTA), aims to enhance standards of van operator compliance and celebrate operators who demonstrate excellence and represent the interests of the van industry.

As a recognised partner, Teletrac Navman will actively support raising awareness of the scheme’s principles to fleet operators across the UK to help stress the importance of compliance and encourage good practice.

Mark Cartwright, FTA’s head of vans, said: “Becoming a Recognised Partner of Van Excellence is an acknowledgement of the work Teletrac Navman does to promote good practice in van fleets, and I look forward to working with them to spread the word about the benefits of good van operational standards.”

“We will work closely with the FTA to help stress the importance of compliance, whilst encouraging good practice within the fleet sector and overall logistics industry,” added Peter Millichap, UK marketing director at Teletrac Navman.
