The Driving Doctor’s driver behaviour solution is now being offered through TomTom Telematics

Developed by Driving Doctor CEO Paul Ripley and his team, the SaaS solution utilises driver behaviour data from OptiDrive 360, a key feature of the TomTom Telematics WEBFLEETfleet management platform, to analyse drivers’ real-time telematics data and provide feedback and coaching education to drivers digitally, helping to reduce accident rates and cut costs.

TomTom Telematics WEBFLEET customers using the solution include telecommunications specialist, Cable and Splicing Services Limited (Cass), which says it’s seen its overall fleet safety score improve by 68% in just over two months while it’s recording year-on-year fuel savings from its fleet of 160 vans of more than £4,000 per week. It’s also benefiting from reduced insurance premiums.

Commenting on the extended association, Beverley Wise, TomTom Telematics’ sales director, said: “We are excited to create this offering with The Driving Doctor and bring this great value-added product to our current customers and resellers. This will generate an innovative and valuable proposition to move forward collectively into the insurance and fleet market sectors.”
