Toolbank adds Mercedes-Benz Sprinters to delivery fleet

The company operates from headquarters in Dartford, Kent, and a network of depots nationwide.

The new medium-length vans are based in Halesowen, West Midlands and were supplied and will be serviced by the Kidderminster branch of Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer group Rygor.

Like all Mercedes-Benz Vans, the Sprinters are covered by three-year, unlimited mileage warranties and because they are maintained within the manufacturer’s UK dealer network, they come with MobiloVan cover, which runs for 30 years and includes free Service 24h emergency roadside assistance.

Toolbank also takes out Mercedes-Benz Service Care contracts under which all parts, lubricants and labour costs required in routine maintenance are covered by fixed monthly payments.

Fleet manager Richard Cope said: “The Service Care contracts are competitively priced, while the fact that our costs are predictable is also very helpful when it comes to managing the fleet. These maintenance packages, coupled with the van industry’s best warranties, mean we benefit from worry-free use of the vehicles during their time with Toolbank.”

He added: “Such is the Mercedes-Benz reputation that we never have any difficulties in disposing of our vans. In fact, I’d already lined up a buyer for the last vans we stood down before their replacements had even arrived. Their new owner has in turn used them to replace vans purchased from us previously, which speaks volumes about the consistent quality of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.”
