Topspeed Couriers chooses Citan for fleet expansion

Provided by Warrington Dealer Enza, the new long-bodied 109 CDIs join a fleet of over 50 vans, which include Vito and Sprinter vehicles.

All vans are managed using tracking and maintained in-house at the company’s recently opened Knutsford headquarters.

Commenting on the purchase of the new vans, Stephen Clegg, Topspeed’s managing director, explained: ‘With hard-earned reputations to guard, our private and public sector customers expect the very highest standards and we need to be sure that the fleet can cope with tough operational requirements.

‘Our vans cover high mileages but we cannot use this as an excuse for a breakdown. Only Mercedes-Benz offers us the reliability, longevity and ease of maintenance, coupled with comprehensive warranty cover and back-up, which we need.

'We will need more vehicles as our business continues to grow, and provided these vans continue to live up to our expectations I feel sure that Topspeed Couriers will be making further purchases from Mercedes-Benz,' he added.

The Citan range combines fuel efficiency of up to 65.7mpg with CO2 emissions as low as 112g/km. The vans have a volume carrying capacity of up to 3.8 m³ and a maximum payload potential of 735kg.
