The Toyota Trade Plus programme will provide popular ready-made conversions.

The Toyota Trade Plus programme will provide popular ready-made conversions through the Toyota retailer network, initially covering the Hilux Tipper, refrigerated Proace panel vans and standard racking kits.  The manufacturer also said it’s reviewing additional opportunities based on the Proace platform cab, with a view to extending the range available over time. All conversion models are covered by Toyota’s five-year/100,000-mile manufacturer warranty.

For bespoke business solutions, Toyota is also launching its Authorised Converter Programme. First partners will be announced at the CV Show on 25 April, with a long-term plan of a network of around 20 conversion specialists. These vehicles will be covered by a Toyota warranty on the vehicle and additional cover from the supplier for the conversion itself.

Full details of the schemes, including pricing and participating suppliers, will be announced at the CV Show later this month, where Toyota will also display a refrigerated Proace, a Proace featuring Trade Plus racking as well as a Hilux Invincible X and Tipper and the UK debut of the Proace Verso MPV in VIP trim.
