FTA Fleet Engineer, which is sponsored by Brigade Electronics, Goodyear and Isuzu Trucks, takes place on Wednesday 10 June at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham.
The event will see Mr Rooney discuss commercial vehicle maintenance, the triennial review, how the revised guide to maintaining roadworthiness is being considered by the TCs, and experiences at public inquiries relating to maintenance issues.
Andy Mair, FTA’s head of engineering, who will be chairing the conference, said: “FTA Fleet Engineer is intended for anyone with responsibility for specifying or maintaining commercial vehicles and ensuring compliance. The comprehensive programme is aimed at giving the very latest information in order to help fleet engineers deal with the many day-to-day challenges that they face.”
