Translogik has signed up as an official supporter of TyreSafe, backing the tyre safety charity’s mission to champion road safety and promote responsible tyre management.
Translogik, a division of Transense Technologies, provides tyre inspection and data capture tools to commercial vehicle tyre suppliers, fleets and tyre dealers, among others.
Its product portfolio includes hand-held tools that measure and digitally capture tyre tread depth and pressure, while also reading radio frequency identification (RFID) tags and communicating with tyre pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS).
The addition of Translogik to the supporter network reinforces TyreSafe’s position at the forefront of promoting tyre safety across the UK, supported by strategic partnerships with road safety organisations, tyre retailers, tyre manufacturers, independent garages, and other motoring and road safety businesses and bodies.

Translogik will also provide some of its latest equipment to support TyreSafe in a number of new research projects this year, further developing a successful productive working relationship going forward.
Failing to correctly monitor tyre condition contributes towards a large percentage of road traffic accidents in the UK. In the vast majority of cases, these accidents are preventable through appropriate routine maintenance checks ensuring correct tyre pressures and tread depth.

The company is also working hard to grow its customer base, so the range of applications where the tools are being used is increasing all the time.
