Delegates travelling to the 2017 FORS Members Conference will have their carbon emissions offset with the help of BP Target Neutral.
The event, which takes place on 17 October and marks the second members’ conference held by the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, will see BP Target Neutral calculate the CO2 emissions of journeys by all delegates and offset the emissions through carbon reduction projects around the world, including a forest protection scheme in Zambia.
John Hix, concession director, FORS, said: “The push for greater efficiency is a theme throughout the FORS Standard, and we encourage fleet operators to consider the changes they can make to reduce emissions and offset where possible. It seems only fitting that we approach our conference in the same way.”
