TRS expands fleet

Refrigeration, mechanical and electrical specialist Technical Retail Services Limited (TRS) has taken delivery of the first of an expanded fleet of 120 vehicles under a new contract with Arnold Clark Vehicle Management.

TRS's expanded fleet of Renault Trafic vans
The new TRS vehicles are composed primarily of customised Renault Trafic vans.

The new deal builds on the firms’ existing partnership first signed in 2010 and follows a tender process.

The fleet is composed primarily of customised Renault Trafic vans, with Arnold Clark Coachbuilders adding wood lining, roof vents and a racking system. The rest of the fleet is comprised of company cars, with ACVM as the sole supplier of all vehicles.

A key reason for the expanded fleet is TRS’s new three-year contract with Marks and Spencer, providing refrigeration service and maintenance to stores throughout the UK.
