Van electrification challenges centre stage at BVRLA webinar

The hot topic of how to boost electric van uptake is to come under focus at the BVRLA’s next Fleets in Charge free webinar, taking place on Wednesday 29 November.

The event will look at the specific needs of van users and how EV solutions need to be adapted

As part of the ‘Vans – becoming the road to zero hero’ webinar, Lizzie Culwick, joint head at the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles will give a direct update from the Government.

In her overview, Culwick will reflect on the recent zero emission vehicle mandate announcement, what this means for vans, and the measures under consideration to boost e-van uptake.

The event will also include a look at the BVRLA’s recent Road to Zero report card. Thomas McLennan, head of policy & public affairs at the association, will summarise the key findings, pulling out the main recommendations for vans.

A panel discussion will follow and look at the specific needs of van users and how solutions need to be adapted to suit.

The expert panel will feature:

  • Ash Tate, MD at Allstar Chargepass
  • Matt Dale, head of transport consultancy and e-Mobility, Mitie Plan Zero
  • Michelle Miles, head of ProGreen
  • Paul Kirby, eLCV expert at EV Essentials
