The scheme was awarded for achievement and innovation in road safety at a special ceremony at the Savoy in London on Tuesday 13 December.
FTA’s head of vans Mark Cartwright said: “We’re delighted to be recognised with what is one of the most prestigious awards in our industry. Van Excellence has, with the commitment of many of the UK’s leading van fleet operators, become an aspirational goal for fleets of all sizes and sectors. Its straightforward and practical approach, focusing on safety and compliance, recognises operator excellence as well as providing a framework for improvement.”
